The customer service has been getting worse over time. The manager or supervisor I spoke with could have been more friendly and welcoming, and the overall communication could definitely be improved. I’ve also had concerns about receiving expired or poor-quality products, but unfortunately, these concerns don’t always seem to be acknowledged. I’ve had to deal with billing issues on my end as well. It feels like the policies are sometimes applied more in favor of the business than the customers. I hope they can take this feedback seriously and work toward providing better products and a better customer experience.

I’m visiting from Canada and had to leave a review for Mustafa, the Meat Manager at Taza Mart in Tampa. I’ve known him for years and have been coming across him since around 2022 to till date, and I can confidently say he is one of the best when it comes to customer service. He truly understands what customers need and always takes the time to help with care and attention. Mustafa is very knowledgeable, precise, and always makes sure customers leave satisfied. It’s rare to find someone who genuinely follows the “know your customer” approach the way he does. Every experience has been excellent, and he consistently goes above and beyond. Taza Mart is lucky to have him. Highly recommended!

Thank you for the amazing masala dosa. Did the prices of onions & potatoes increase? Or is this the quantity you guys give? We’ve been having this kind of issues multiple times with quality & quantity. I’ve took this for take away and not so surprised! Either change your staff or keep losing your customers.

Taaza Mart located off Bruce B Downs in New Tampa is the go-to place for the thousands of East Asians residing in the Tampa Bay Area offering groceries fresh vegetables and shelves stocked with sweet and savory snacks freezers filled with meats fish and other delicacies and so much more the checkout lines can be longer on the weekends but they are fast! Perhaps the best part of Taaza is the cafe area in the back that is bustling with families and children partaking of their myriad fresh offerings - mango lassi, dosa, tea to name a few - true to its name! Nothing fancy but good food served cafeteria style with a seating area where one can take a few moments to enjoy seeing a glimpse of Bollywood or Tollywood on the TVs and catch snatches of conversation multiple Indian dialects being spoken there and simply be.

I’m not from India but I lived in Dubai for a year and developed a taste for Indian food and snacks. This store has the most varied and authentic products I have seen in Tampa. I never heard of this store or looked for it, but they happen to be located between the pet store and BJ’s I was going to. If you are in the area and like Indian snacks, you should definitely stop by even if only to look around. They also have a large selection of British cookies (biscuits) to go with the large variety of teas. I did not try the food court but will go back to try it.
